Ang serye ng BS-5040 na transmitted polarizing microscopes ay nilagyan ng makinis, umiikot, nagtapos na yugto at isang set ng mga polarizer na nagbibigay-daan sa pagmamasid sa lahat ng uri ng transmitted light polarized specimens gaya ng manipis na mga seksyon ng mineral, polymers, crystals at particulates. Nilagyan ito ng infinite optical system, komportableng viewing head at isang set ng Strain-free Infinite Plan Objectives na nag-aalok ng magnification range na 40X – 400X. Maaaring gamitin ang digital camera kasama ng BS-5040T para sa pagsusuri ng imahe.
